I'm gonna guess there were a lot of "-chan"s that all got changed to "little"s in this chapter, huh? I respect the idea, but I think it comes across just as unnatural as if you had left the -chan in. Maybe use it sparingly, and omit it most of the time.

Thank you for translating this series! I really enjoyed the earlier parts, and An made for a fun protagonist (even though she should've started her own manga instead of getting caught up in Kirinji's story). Ending was kinda blah, but hey. Thanks again~

Feels like this is setting up for a 3-volume run, which feels right. Better to be short n sweet, than run this gimmicky premise into the ground.

I'll add that in the context of the manga itself, Shibashou was first hyped up 280 chapters ago, and his lieutenants appeared 80 chapters ago. We've known they were an asset available to Zhao for a long time. The reason they didn't get involved until now is that Shibashou despises the Zhao king...

in chapter 780, Ousen sends 20k troops to reinforce Akou's army. Denrimi was also baited out to join the melee in the center, and Shin was removed from the field. Shibashou's 30k seems more than a match for Ousen's remaining 30k.

This theme of "I want to love, but my pride won't let me" is a motif that comes up again in other Furuya Minoru works.
