With my limited knowledge, I think they were referring to a programmable self replicating algorithm. A pure AI in theory doesn't need commands, only huge datasets to learn.

yea Litch seems better than the jap-eng Ritchie. Also the bath has Dawoon's name in this tl, making more sense for the adventurers to recognise his handiwork. But I like the other tl's "The Rabbit emptied his mind" has more impact.

@g4bimaru I think in the anime, he was flicking his forehead. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong. But I've seen that action of flicking one's forehead in many gag anime/manga. The only ones I can remember are I think in Gintama I guess.
