Well calling it Euler's Formula is a bit.. Euler's Formula is used in general for the exponential form of complex numbers and is e^ix=cos(x)+i*sin(x) (x is in radians). e^i*pi=-1 is Euler's Identity. This actually is indeed Euler's Formula, but for when x = pi. It's special because it's so mind boggling.

Nope, it's all real. While I'm not an expert by any means, I can back up that both e and i are actual mathematical terms.
