@Rheeve dunno if you read the raws, but the sheer amount of stars and hearts they put is so much that it loses meaning

all props go to the translator, I just clean and typeset. I purposefully try to keep things as simple as possible, and felt that all those symbols didn't add much to the way they spoke at all so I decided to leave them out.

To anyone wondering why the chapter may seem so confusing, it was basically a chapter filled with japanese puns. Translating japanese puns into english is extremely difficult, since they lose their actual punch, so the translator tried to make it understandable, the result is this. There may be...

@humbleoverlord here's the thing spices grow mostly in humid places like India or SEA countries. But we don't know shit about the actual geography of the world here they could as well be in an isolated desert with no contact from other countries or at least limited trade.

@Tersione I mean this is clearly a comedy/sol manga, exaggerations will obviously occur, and the point of it is making it silly. Moreover so far I have not seen much "Japanese cooking stronk" vibes, but rather a use of different cooking styles which have been created through thousands of years...

@SuperOniichan didn't get that feeling myself. I felt like baka always carried the manga and anime. The best thing about this manga is that you can argue that any of the cast is the protagonist, since they all get a decent spotlight.

@SuperOniichan It's an ad to promote the release of vol 8 of JnM and vol 2 of uchuu toka And Baka is the protagonist of JnM, or at least the icon of the manga. All promo centers around her or the trio as a whole

@Darklight99 please calm down, two characters interacting with each other doesn't mean the author is trying to push a ship. It's just setting their relation with each other be it whether they are friends or not.

Unless something is extremely popular and has a dedicated fan base that supports it through buying merchandise and stuff, an already concluded manga will not have an anime adaptation. Jiken jaken is no beast like that so that makes it unlikely to have an anime.
