According to the chapter titles, the listed changes have not been made.
I have no volumes of the manga, but looking at Piccoma (JP VPN required) the chapter titles named in the report have numbers matching those in the report (and not the ones currently on MD), e.g. 安城さんはキリンが好き is 121, not 118...
I don’t know if it is possible with this forum software, but what about reactions being kept on the posts themselves and not applied to the user. You can see that a post has been marked down but only moderators can see an aggregate of the post scores for a user.
Those numbers can’t be right because on BW
Vol 1: chs 1-9
Vol 2: chs 10-19.5 (actually numbered 19.5, with a separate unnumbered omake after)
Vol 3: chs 20-30.5
Vol 4: chs 31-41
I’m have a free/cheap copy of volume one I picked up at some point.
Chs 1-3 match the tankoubon in all languages but...
The first chapter in volume 18 is what is currently chapter 151 in both English and Russian on MD, but the Portuguese ch 151 is equivalent to English chapter 152.
Ah, that was my report. At the time, I ch 1.1 was just labelled as 1 on MD. I didn’t twig that it was Manga Yomonga but I’ve encountered their inane numbering scheme before (like you click “Chapter.3” and it says “第2話” on the page).
But the former has the list of volumes along with a volume 1 preview and information like full list of creators, publisher, label, initial publication date etc.
The latter just has the volume list.
BookWalker or BookWalker Global method to (usually) obtain a hi-res cover:
Copy the thumbnail image URL, e.g. https://rimg.bookwalker.jp/7710085/6u1VY3UN~QyhkEGh4TxtSw__.jpg
Take the ID and reverse it: 5800177
Decrement the number by 1: 5800176
Insert that number into this URL...
An alternative for Kodansha US and also for Seven Seas is:
Search for the volume on https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/
Click on the cover thumbnail, then on the enlarge icon in the corner
Click “download hi res” to download a hi-res TIFF
They also sometimes upload Japanese covers prior to the...
@HayashidaYuki I have it downloaded on my iPad by way of creating a Japanese iTunes account (I created it years ago to use with an imported iTunes points card and can’t recall how exactly, but it still works to access the Japanese store by switching store accounts temporarily). Actually easier...
> oh shut up, This manga isn't one of the few that release in parts, as evidenced by the raws
You’ve linked some sort of raw aggregator site. In point of fact, this is serialised on MangaUP! which releases in parts (6 parts for chapter 1). Full chapters are posted on Gangan Online after a delay...
@Leonkristoffer no English license, but you can buy the volume currently available volume (vol. 2 is out next month) for ¥550 at one of the retail links on the manga page (I use BookWalker because it is easy to use, has loyalty points on every purchase, frequent sales and isn’t completely region...
@MonaBee
> How do you smell water?
With your nose? “Mizu kusai” is also a Japanese expression but I’m lacking context since you’ve commented on the manga rather than a specific chapter.
