    The Dangers in My Heart

@Darklight99 Believe it or not, I bought the first volume in Japan over a year ago, when nobody knew it here. I also started to read "Yesterday wo utatte" twenty years ago, when virtually nobody in the west read it, and now a lot of people talk about Sing yesterday for me because of the anime...

The Dangers in My Heart - Vol. 3 Ch. 36.2 - Extra Chapter 33 - On The Way Back Home In Winter, We Shared a First

Cute, just cute. This manga is rapidly creeping into my heart and becoming my favourite of 2019/20. I enjoy the raws a lot, but the translation is well done as well. Besides that, as somebody who lived in Japan and worked there at a japanese middle school for three years, I find the bitching...

The Dangers in My Heart - Vol. 3 Ch. 35 - I'm Teaching How to Study

@Ergodos, Yes, I mean bi-monthly, aka twice a month. Bi-weekly would be nearly impossible with all these twitter extras and other promo illustrations Norio draws.

The Dangers in My Heart - Vol. 3 Ch. 35 - I'm Teaching How to Study

@N0Mi0 This is not a weekly manga, but a monthly one. It's going to change to a bi-monthly format starting in May, though.

Filter Manga from manhwa and manhua :planned:

I've been an avid manga reader for almost 30 years and I don't care about Manhwa and Manhua, so I really want to filter them out, especially now that the amount of korean and chinese titles on mangadex is increasing and making it more and more difficult for me to navigate for new manga titles...

Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu - Vol. 2 Ch. 17 - I Gave It Up

@Kaarme, Repeating the same joke over and over doesn't make you more funny, just more infantile. Knock it off.

The Dangers in My Heart - Vol. 3 Ch. 32 - I Can't Keep Distance

@Hachio15 Norio Sakurai is not a "dude", it's a woman. Just google her name up if you don't believe me.

    Yama to Shokuyoku to Watashi

Why is this title categorized as "josei"? The individual chapters are published on Shinchōsha's "kurage punch" website and the individual volumes are released under the label "bunch comics", same as "Gokushufudou: The Way of the House Husband", which is categorized as "seinen" on mangadex. I...

    Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san - Vol. 14 Ch. 114 - Detour (Part 1)

@TSP You did a fine translating job. Don't listen to naysayers, they have no idea what they're talking about. If they want to have any translation as "pure" as possible, then they just have to learn japanese and buy the originals. Problem solved.

    Third Year Kimengumi

@taril360dz Yepp, I have fond memories of watching the show on TF1 in the late eighties/early nineties.

    Youth Shonen Magazine 1978-1983

Makoto Kobayashi's "What's Michael" was one of my very first manga I bought back in the early nineties. For someone like me who loves old school manga and rom-coms from the early eighties like "The Kabocha wine", this manga is excellent and full of interesting trivia! Moreover, the translation...

    Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san - Vol. 14 Ch. 119 - Rain

Nishitaka musters all his courage just to be her! He constantly thinks of her. How sweet. 😎

    The Kabocha Wine

Wow, someone is really translating this? ... I can't believe it! I saw the anime back in the late eighties on french TV as a young teenager and bought all the old tankobon volumes in Japan in the late nineties. The manga is a charming old school romcom. Keep the tranlation up! Well done !! 😁

    Hakka Shoujo

Just for your information, the artist is actually a woman, born in 1974. Before becoming a pro mangaka in the late nineties, she had a job position as a teacher and was active in a doujin circle under another pen-name.

Kowloon Generic Romance - Vol. 1 Ch. 1

Modern technology (flatscreens, computers) in Kowloon? Japanese style work place, japanese food stands and rather spacious private apartments? .... What a weird romantization of the walled city. I prefer Itakura Azusa's version of Kowloon in Tao no shiro. It's a more realistic portrayal of that...
