I loved the series, but the pacing of the manga wasn't to the audience's taste. Pity. I thought its slowness was perfect--it allowed for the depth of the setting, the characters, and art to seep in.

@Kizuro, how is punishing rape and attempted abuse of a woman by preventing him from desiring such a thing "obsession"? Are you not a man, or are you afraid of the same happening to you?

How is the MC suddenly unlikeable, @thatsleepyguy? I would understand if you didn't like him in an early chapter, since he is singlemindedly trying to become the most powerful. Now he almost seems like he has a personality besides it.
