Because as you said, it's free. The author gotta make a revenue from that, more number = more revenue. But they certainly could have cut it better, because people will certainly lose interest if they just cut the chapters seemingly randomly...
The Saint is also hypocrite in a lot of way. She dared to imply that all the human sacrifices he made is unjustifiable, when she also killing humans(including her own allies) and wanted to call herself a hero by killing the demon lord.
It's a bit stupid. Why would they think the killer STILL holding the poison tbh, if anything, they should've assumed that the killer thrown away the poison already. Putting it on another belongings to pin the blame on them should be the next natural course, obviously.

on Android, it’s really easy by just downloading “illegal” apk/from third party. Can be done by a simple google tbh.
I don’t really use features such as itunes anyway.
