The fodder fight did fit the trope, but the fight was necessary given the universe--wouldn't you be surprised if there weren't SOME character that believed the rumors if the guild master hated the rumors? The fight with Amanda is unnecessary but entertaining.

I should've seen the ending coming, or the number of chapters. While I wanted more, it was complete as it was. Read this manga.

AthalosJ, I think the old girlfriend was considerate, but only up to a point. People can easily become insensitive to people whom no longer matter in their life. I think she was trying to indulge her boyfriend's humor and meant no ill will. The female lead presently seems better.

This was a pretty funny gag manga.
