Even as a 'omniscient and omnipotent self-insert' story it could have been done better. For one example, Daru could have opposed Athena's decision (because he knows better as an experience adventurer/self-insert/whatever). He could have gone after Est in secret right after Est got kicked out...

Ah of course. Not only is Daru able to turn the tides of battle, he is able to do it solo, which even further invalidates the drama about protecting Est. If Daru can solo demons then there is no reason he couldn't protect a 'useless' support member or two in a functional party.

It could also be that they are doing releases in countries that might have extremely strict decency laws so they just censor everything. I'm suspecting China in particular.

Even their advertisement page is pretty bad "available in your city" realistically should be "available in your country" for example. Also on that topic the ad page is 709x1259 while the actual manga pages are 500x711. :facepalm:
