The heroine's name appears to be a Japanese play on words: "高すぎる" (takasugiru) means "to be too tall." Poor Takasugi-san. Just in case anybody needs the conversion from metric to imperial... Takasugi-san is 180 cm, or 5 feet 11 inches, and Masakatsu-san is 145 cm, or 4 feet 9 inches.
