For a character that's a cartoon bird (well, in the art, not the actual story), you can actually just feel how angry Punpun is. Something about the fact that he is just a cartoon bird and you can feel his emotions makes this entire thing fifty times better.

Subjectively speaking, the manga's definitely better than the anime right now. If they decide to go the VIRM route, I'd hope they put more buildup for it.

On one hand... absolute best girl. On the other... it's been nothing but dumb gags and self-made Goblin Slayer jokes at this point. I'm not taking back the 9/10 I gave it, but things have been rather slow for me. Because I'm optimistic I will keep reading it for now.
