The problems with the two "Real" heroes' stories is that they are extremely cliche and boring. The Chick is there simply 'cause she knew Makoto and she's really naive, and the guy's there simply to be an asshole that gets shown up to, and the whole the princess' actually using the male hero is...

@Windmill go and read the chapter again, it was anything but that. Yeah they tried to the Guru in Namek, but instead of revealing inner power she got to peek at the Abyss and the Abyss eyed her back.

@Doopington, Snakes can do both, so given her more human aspects it could easily be a live birth.
