My only problem with the series is that I rather not think about it for 3-5 years because each chapter seems to have a rather slow pace so you wait a month for a tiny bit more and so far I am not sure how the story intends to progress.

That is so bizarre, it had a very nice pacing, steady progress and then it just timeskip and goes over all the progress, so yeah it ends nicely, but it feels like we skipped multiple chapters. Is a hard recommendation for me, I wanted more of it.

While I share probably the same opinion as "donutdude10" (page 1) I still wanted to give my two cents. I am not big into Battle shounen, while I greatly respect authors coming up with inventive powers, the way they can be used and countered at times it feels like they are overcomplicating...

I wish it had more pages out to really tell where does the author intend to move with the story, because it could just be the post (or reverse?) Isekai where the MC can enjoy like a military veteran a normal life, rekindle an old and odd friendship that can turn into something more, or old...
