People are hating the MC too much. He is, quite frankly, depressed, clinically depressed, not tiktok depressed. He has no good relationship with any of the women in his house - think about it, he is very used to deprecating and insulting remarks from his own sister and mother, so why wouldn't he think that similar behavior is okay from Natsukawa? And this has been hapening for years

In my family, insulting someone is strictly not allowed, and now I see, it was for a good measure. The Moral's committee chairwoman is the only one who respects him, and look at how confused he is because of that.

He is so far gone that he simply cannot self-diagnose and self-heal himself, unless someone directly points this out to him. Realistically, he will never heal and keep going down the spiral of self-hate and isolation until he offs himself.

It's dogshit.

The last chapter, chapter 33, doesn't bring ANY GODDAMN CLOSURE AT ALL. I'm just gonna spoil it, they are not together yet at the end. It just ends. The school festival started and ended and the manga just ends...

I don't hate the manga because the plot or the characters. I think it has a potential to be a decent subversion of a romance manga but nope, the manga is probably just be here for advertising the LN or something. It's so weird...

At the time i'm writing this, i'm still in coping mode, hoping they may be continuing the series and at least adding a closure or something. But the last page of ch 33 clearly has The End word in it so i'm kinda still in utter disbelief rn.


TLDR; it's dogshit, had a HUGE potential and then it just ends with nothing getting resolved imo. Don't be bothered with this one. You'll thank me later.

What a terrible ending. This could have legitimately been very good, but the non-ending is so pathetic and lame. Nothing is resolved, nothing meaningful happens, it's just a filler chapter full of nothing and that's how it ends? I've never been annoyed with an ending before. This is truly just a failing.

yeah that ending is horrible, not nothing meaningful happens and the two don't really ever resolve anything. horrible communication is a classic writing tool in fiction but like, they never understand anything the other really says right up until the end. insanely frustating. i relate to a previous commentby Kero_Kura about never being annoyed with endings before but this irks me

Have to agree with everyone else, thats a terrible way to end the manga. I have to assume something happened to where they just couldnt continue making it. Cant even say it ended on a cliffhanger, a more accurate way of putting it is youre having a conversation with someone and the conversation ends mid sentence.

I just watched the anime and wanted to read the manga but the comment section ahahaha
I don't know why manga got cut so short since the LN/WN is still ongoing
I see a lot of hate for the FMC and the MC, but honestly, I might hate the sister more
FMC's actions at the start felt reasonable assuming she didn't want a relationship with MC
I guess I have to read the light novel someday when it has an official translation hopefully

Between the awful translations early on, the trash ending, idiot characters and bad writing, this is a 3/10 on a good day.

Best part of reading this was that I got a great image to send my husband whenever I get a migraine, and that was thanks to a TL credit page.

Lowkey the ending made me feel frustrated. Like I saw him struggle and finally saw him and the main heroine understand how they feel but then it just ends abruptly. If the author had taken their time to set the pieces fall into place correctly and at its pace, it would’ve worked. If the author had made a few more chapters of them explaining how they feel with each other and made up in a good way, the MC and heroine would’ve been so much better. It would have shown their development as people and their maturity with their feelings now after they opened up to one another. And understood each other on why they did certain things like on how the MC distant himself away or how the heroine couldn’t properly explain her feelings to him and fully open up to him cause she didn’t realize she had feelings for him and took him for granted. If the author showed a chapter like that and them getting together it would have been so much better in my opinion.

Man this manga was awful. How can the author have so many heroines to chose from and not develop any of them? How can the MC say hes moving past his feelings and literally simp and say "goddess" the second he sees the FMC? There were so many plot points and heroines left unused you probably could have told me this was just a bunch of oneshots slammed together. I honestly just wanted the MC to start dating literally any of the 8 or so other girls so the FMC can get off her tsundere BS but then the manga just ends.
