The dialogue is all over the place. None of the characters speak like people. Their reactions to one another feel disjointed, quasi-disconnected from what what they are responding to. Maybe the translation isn't helping, but dialogue definitely shouldn't be this clunky regardless.
Translation was a bit stilted, ("skinny," not "bare'?) but damn if it isn't interesting. For how temperamental he is, they surprisingly pair well together.
I personally found Ayumi the best, so I don't see the issue. Jindou was just a nuisance, and Tenshi was interesting but obviously never worth considering.
