Overcooking the story with stupid plot twists wasn't on my bingo card for this one, but I should've known to keep expectations low. This is pretty typical for manga with a good premise.

This is such a strange, awful series. Not because the plot is or ever will be interesting, but because these characters are all so annoying and disgusting. And instead of having any real character development, the writer just introduces new awful characters to stall with. So many decent romcoms...

It's been established that this guy has no backbone. Also because romcom readers think this kind of routine is "funny" I guess. Anything to keep these characters from having any sort of meaningful development.

Teenagers and most adults aren't emotionally sound enough to deal with intimate relationships. There's no way these two can keep this up for much longer without one of them just being done with it and breaking up.

Is Hamita's Alien GF manga and this one some kind of elaborate cry for help?
