I don't remember the earlier chapters too much, does the knight know that Rose loves him? If he doesn't and he thought that she was only acting like that because of the potion, it's kinda messed up that he would go for a kiss with someone that he thinks is brainwashed.

All scanlators can put in shitty jokes and sidebar comments that they think are hilarious, most just don't because they realize they're not. You're new so you'll reach that point eventually.

It's Galaxy Degen, they're known for subpar translations/proofreading as well as dropping series until someone picks it up months later then mass releasing to snuff out the new guy just to repeat the cycle.
I checked the raw and the indonesion version is right. The whole page in this version is pretty much made up.
He says
"thank you"
"I was (also) saved, just a bit" (he's expressing gratitute to her, probably because of her company and for getting to see a touching moment of humanity after months...
In this context, he's talking about texture because his food has become softer and more tender now that he can stew his food with the pot unlike before where he had to eat drier and tougher foods.

Jayna usually let's Angela sabotage herself or schemes to reveals her true colors to others. Choosing an unflattering dress to directly sabotage her isn't characteristic of her and is also unpleasant.
