One of the most intense scenes in the series history. -Conan trying to defuse a bomb. Takagi and Conan willing to let timer run off to get the hint. Sataou on the verge of tears not trying to relive the moment that killed her comrade. The grim reaper closing in on the tower. Genta chocking...

One benefit about being Conan is that his sneak level is ninja level.

Takagi is the ultimate underdog and like any underdog, you tend to root for them.

Sataou will never live with herself if Takagi died in the explosion.

One body search and Rose's plot would have been undone easily. With that said, it's cool to see Shinichi solve a crime in America. Luckily his mother is famous otherwise I doubt any American cop will tolerant Shinichi's presence.
