I would disagree, only because some of the scenes of the storyline are my favorite parts of the whole story. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of them, and I think it suffers by being bound to continuity set in stone by the the previous flash-forwards to the confrontation with the Hero's party.

The anime hasn't reached this point yet. There's about a decade and a half of storyline between where the anime leaves off with Arachne Kumo's crew, and when it picks up again with the Hero and his classmates. We're in Volume 7 of the Light Novel, and we don't get back to where the anime ended...

I think every character who has encountered Michiru and talked to her more than about a minute thinks she is weird. It's just that she's weird in ways that look like they affect herself, and not the people around her. So, being polite to her seems sufficient, and she's generally polite back...

If she's telling the truth about being from the future, and about the contraceptive potion, then it seems like she's trying to eliminate one or more of his children from the timeline. And possibly dropping a lot of hints for someone who seems to be concerned about preserving history.
