Sisters. Incredibly violent sisters. You know, when I started reading this I was thinking it would be, like, naturalistic with the one exception of the MC's super strength.

@Sevs What you gotta realize is, Yoshizumi Wataru's been doing (often extremely popular) manga since the 80s. She's one of the people who created the shoujo manga formula!

Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid. Annoying. Male chauvinist bullshit. And incidentally totally undercuts the manga's main differentiating gimmick, leaving us with basically nothing but pure, boring cliche.

What I learned from manga: Never believe idiot rumours about your uber-hot boyfriend. (I'm sure that will come in handy someday) Luckily, he will be able to tell instantly what's going on . . . at least, once he mentally translates it from whatever outlandish fantasy she turns it into.

@rob1610 Yeah, that's Yoshizumi Wataru for you. She's a grand master, and I love some of her manga, but even the ones I like the most have some cringeworthy drama sequences. How old is this new jerk, five?!

"Please stop!" she said. Honestly, sometimes I think the Japanese can be a bit oversocialized. How about "Back off before I rip your tiny arms and legs off!" Supportiveness + confession was so totally cute though. @Alpha_Salsa You only need so much special abilities when you're 30 feet tall...

The problem, she realizes, is that she can't fight back against abductors. She's going to the mountains to train under a mysterious old man until she is good enough to go train at the cursed Jusenkyo springs. When she comes back she will be a martial arts master and under certain circumstances...

Of course we missed the part where she brutally murders her mother and hides the corpse where it ends up never being found. At least, that's my headcanon and I'm sticking to it.
