Well, it's been a good 8 chapters or so since the last time Marisa got wrecked. Reckon she's overdue.

I’m pretty sure that at time of posting, this is the most recent chapter, or maybe like one behind the most recent. The series just came back from a fairly long hiatus, as Ume was (per her Twitter) dealing with health issues.

I'm suddenly real worried that Ume-sensei just planted the seeds for a bittersweet ending where Yuno and Miyako part ways because Miyako gets into that prestigious school.

The Hime chapters are just so different from all the other stuff in this series. And I love all the other stuff, but I also love the Hime chapters. This is a really good manga.

Nadeshiko is 100% going on the roof later, and we are 100% not gonna be shown who she goes with.

It's been listed on Manga Time Kirara Carat's official website as being on hiatus for a while now. I haven't seen anything on why, or when it might be coming back.

I appreciate the Mari cameo at the beginning there. I like that the YuruYuri 'verse is expansive enough to be able to give us little Easter eggs like that.

I was more under the impression that she's the one who hides the caterpillar in the first place, so that she can "find" it later and seem like she's helping her sister. "Engineered Heroics" as it's called on TV Tropes.

It's a "Misaki being an adorable little creature" chapter AND a "Nadeshiko being a cool big sister" chapter?! Aaah, we are spoiled.

I don't know if I'd say for certain that my OTP in this series is Renako x Satsuki, but I will at least say that Satsuki is far and away the easiest character in this series to root for, just in general. Like she's the one whose long-term happiness I am most invested in.

It's fine, and it's not for no reason. The strong implication (go reread chapters 131 and 147) is that she's going to university to learn how to better help Chiya manage AmaUsa. Honestly, if anything, the existence of Chiya should be more concerning to a RizexSyaro shipper than anything else.

I've become kind of fascinated with how Namori-sensei juxtaposes YuiKyou and KyouAya. KyouAya gets entire chapters dedicated to it every once in a while; YuiKyou gets smaller moments sprinkled in far more frequently (while almost never getting full chapters). I guess which one appeals more to...

Misaki being protective over her sticker book was a nice touch. And people say this series never has any lasting developments. :sneaky:

If Shamiko gets any more advanced with that rod, she's basically going to be playing one of those "build your own waifu" games with Momo. I'm here for it.

I feel like, in hindsight, it took me a pretty long time to decide whether or not I like Misaki, but she is gradually becoming one of the most endearing characters in the entire YuruYuri 'verse, in my personal opinion.
