Gosh, sometimes you get the feeling that Miyamura is just female wish fulfillment. Every girl wants a guy who will think about her in both those ways, and not complain about it because he thought he was already doing the right thing.

If you think that's harsh, then understand that what you're saying is also unreasonable. The translators can do whatever they want, either read it that way and be thankful, or maybe just leave.
I think it's hilarious that her mother seemed to approach it from the right direction, then after this it went so, so badly. But I guess that's what we were here for, not her mother making the correct decisions, but the bad ones :P
From reading this arc, all I've been getting is that the author is really obsessed with this flower creation of theirs. Maybe write a manga about flowers next time.
More and more, I'm feeling like "a romance that cuts through fate" is just to tease us. When was the last time there was any romance? Every five chapters or so we get a small moment.
