Implication here is that the guy feels guilty over his brother's passing. It's like his brother died heartbroken that his only family moved away. This stuff is utterly tragic.

I remember searching chapter after chapter to see what happened to this guy, only to realize he retired off-screen. Now there are pages where we get to see his conclusion. Least the "strike zone" comment to Akira makes more sense.

Emi's death was so sudden and pointless. She didn't even have the build-up like other characters did before she died despite being in the center of a lot of events. What a waste.

These short stories were way more interesting than the four-part saga we got earlier.

Wouldn't mind this continuing. I can see why people have a problem with this manga. Pace is going too fast and the stakes haven't settled in. Story is pretty inconsistent in tone. It tried too hard to be dark in the first chapter. Now it's settling for dark humor. Characters not so great either...

Wonder what else is 3000-fold.
