I don't really care about the romance that much, but I just want to watch the yakuza that's hiring her to die. The author really does a good job showing how fucking scum these gangsters really are, just like in real life.
The art is nice, and the story is cohesive. Despite it being "slow" we do get bits and pieces of progression, and it doesn't feel like the story has stalled. So I don't really get some of the comments already being negative when we're only at chapter 16.
Kiri's dad is so fcking clueless. The nerve of this dude to suggest rebuilding when his son, allegedly, committed suicide. Then suddenly you care about family when your wife is asking for a divorce.
Feels like the physics isn't making sense. The girl swapped place with the kid causing her to fall, then MC had the time to jump after the girl and hug her while holding her head during free fall?
It takes at least 3 days to die from dehydration. The bugs won't kill her but, this is going to be a long 3 days. Hands bound, a couple broken bones and alone in the dark.
29 chapters in and I do not feel an ounce of empathy for everyone involved except for Chloe the witch. Feels like the author just wanted an excuse to draw gore and tits and added some preachy love and peace lines and a couple of edgy human bad spiels.
