Even with her plastic surgery, I can't really tell the difference between the old Mari and the new Maria. They both look the same to me.

Now that I'm thinking about, wouldn't bringing all the evidences that her son gathered up hurt not only the bullies but also their families? And also, with all that proof, why didn't she try to disprove that her husband was abusive to their son? Kinda dick move

Cause she wants them to suffer by her own hands and cause then to die like they caused her precious kid to die. Them getting out is about as likely as a character escaping Jigsaw’s traps

Sure I agree that she should have set the record straight with how her husband wasn’t doing those things but then that would have resulted in her not being able to get justice via her own hands

I mean, that's probably the endgame, but if she put it out, and then went after kowase, the rest would Immediately suspect her. And what punishment would you give five people who goaded a kid into suicide? In japan, a slap on the wrist probably. They didnt push him off, he jumped.

Make no mistake, she is judge, jury and executioner. Telling the world of their crimes can come after.

Kiri's dad is so fcking clueless. The nerve of this dude to suggest rebuilding when his son, allegedly, committed suicide. Then suddenly you care about family when your wife is asking for a divorce.

Hmm; the art's a little off this chapter. E.g., the Inspector/Ex-Dad had a weirdly shaped head in his flashback moment and the principal also looked weird when he was fuming in his chair.

That was quick, I mean I'm glad that the mangaka's actually bringing in the dad but this is a bit ham-fisted

How is it ham-fisted? This isn't the first time he was introduced. He introduced himself to the main antagonist (the Sauve charismatic intelligent sadist leader of the bully group) right after the 1st victim went missing and got charmed by the antagonist. He looked melancholic and disheveled then too.

Alright y'all; who's next victim? Bet:

Piggy?
NTR-In-Training Gyaru Athlete?
Sauve Sadist?
Principal?
Combo?
Something else entirely?

so the husband already started on the guilt trip. based on his dark reaction to that teacher seems the husband joining on the wife revenge mission on the end seems more plausible now. because he knows he is 100% at fault and too late to regret it.

...It wasn't a dark reaction... He clearly emphasized with the dude cause he has a similar experience with his son and gave the teacher advice... Both of them now have an experience with a dead student/child that they could have possibly prevented if they intervened...

I know it wasn't the first time he was introduced, but he should realize that it might be his wife (and then solidifying his position in the plot) over more time. I wouldn't have said it was ham-fisted or too early if he got more information from the past two of Maria's victims, rather than him just hearing from some kid that someone with his wife's exact name is at the school

Because it shouldn't be a long serie... Why delay? '-'
But it will be more tense... '-'
I meant that his place in the plot was solidified rather quick, like he didn't really matter much in the previous few chapters and now all of a sudden he is a main character

I think I can confidently say the break up is due to Maria wants to shoulder the burden of taking this revenge alone. She doesn't her hubby to go down this no turning back path as well.
She probably had already set her mind into doing anything in order to have revenge. Even whoring herself. Is not unlikely that she decided to break out of respect for her husband and drive away troubles from him considering he was already subjected to suspicions of abusing his son.

Is it just me or are we getting a finale in which Maria and her husband will have a confrontation similar to Monster, but more tragic?
