@Suisuigo I would honestly be careful with writing this off as not 'edgy'. The signs are all there. First apparently no one but the MC can smell fishiness. Secondly, costume choice. Third, constant "omg, what noobs" at all the other people.

@arimareiji Honestly if this was a josei (not even shoujo) manga I would agree but I find the difference in targeted demographic telling. It gives a tone to all the dialogue along with all the other contextual interactions that hints at certain things. Its less about the speed of progression...

@RedInACup Yea hopefully the author realises that having the characters push just for nothing to happen makes readers more annoyed not less. Its much worse when even the plot itself denies progress.

@Knight Think you misread things. Him talking about not sacrificing anyone was referring to the dragon. He didn't kill the psycho old man because he just didn't bother, since it won't solve anything.

This manga is making a big mistake in glossing over hardships while only trying to make the MC seem amazing or 'right'. It'll eventually wear a reader down when they don't have some reason to go on. @Nozomi The thing isn't that he's learning, its that someone who subscribed to different thinking believed him so easily and he himself in that situation never thought to question the possibilities and even worse gave others the idea that those possibilities may not exist.

I can already tell that item girl is acting... hard. She's probably the worst and given the info that its to make parents and children get along and you can't leave before that she and her mom got into a fight.

Its very misleading people calling this a one-punch man knock-off, not only is the story the opposite but he doesn't use only punches. That said though I would prefer more people warn me about the horrible dialogue, whether it was because of translation or just writing.

This entire thing is just the right mix of bad and comedy to be enjoyable.

I honestly never expected this much plot from this manga. Its just interesting enough to not get completely bored of the fanservice/smut.
