For the original JP, Mia says わたくしもいきますわ (watakushi moiki masuwa), but bites her tongue on the ますわ (masuwa), saying まちゅわ (machuwa) instead.

The manga is getting really close to being done with adapting volume 2 of the light novel. With the current rate, should be early to mid 2025 when the manga starts adapting volume 3

for Sion, it's that he is naive and doesn't really try to see the whole picture for things. He takes most info at face value, only seeing things as black and white. It's the way his whole country is, with there who sense of justice and that they are always in the right.

it's less her being dumb and a bit more carefree. The biggest thing is also that the manga isn't really showing her thoughts in the current chapters, instead choosing to focus more on Sion and having Mia as comedic stuff in the background
