I appreciate the analysis in the translator comments at the end. Despite being a wacky gag series, Bo-bobo actually follows Shonen Battle Manga conventions fairly well, sometimes better than its more serious contemporaries.

I'm having a hard time parsing what's going on here. People keep wandering away from the river and doing shit in the forest, but why? There's supposed to be a bear, why is anybody going out of eyeshot of the group panning for gold? Idk it's just hard to follow because the tight paneling implies...

Yeah, this series has done a good job making it clear that there's no Good Guys or Bad Guys on a war, just two sides of soldiers doing their job that involves murder. But even so, Sinan seems particularly reprehensible.
