I love how the ranking dude felt like some random mook when he first showed up, like some admin guy they send out from the ranking committee, but more and more it we see that he himself is super powerful.

I love how the Gods are depicted in this series. Extremely powerful and inhuman, but without feeling "wise" or "omnipotent"... just these eerie entities that wander about with unclear goals or agency.
