'Sniping' is only bad if you're discouraging a decent active group that should be encouraged. The ultimate goal is more quality scanslations for everyone by not being crappy to decent groups. If the group mass purges their own chapters or has been sitting on untranslated raws for 3 months...

IMO the groups that apologize for using MTL like you do are almost never the real abominations - it's the for profit groups that don't tell you, but obviously nobody involved knows either Japanese OR English. Sometimes MTL misses a fine point, but you're doing a great job with editing it to...

Nothing you can do about it, I know, but it's always just so aaaargh to see the opening pages of a chapter that were very obviously in color but the publisher was too damn cheap and just printed the tankoubon in black and white.
