One of those chapters... haaaaaaah :shamihuh:
When I see one of these, I imagine they ran out of storyboard, and are scrambling to just put out something to keep the updates rolling while they figure out the next plot arc.
Totally agree. The story is engaging, even if it's another "reincarned into a video game" repeat, but the artwork is the true star of this manga.
Especially Luce's over the top reactions.
It feels like the author started with a cool idea about a guy that could talk to dragons, but was expelled from a major clan for befriending their dragons that are treated as nothing more than work tools.... but author didn't think of anything beyond that. Now it's just random BS as the author...
TY for the update! :bocchiwave:
I just wish the raws would come out faster. 4 months is a bit long... maybe the artist was sick or something. :questionblob:
LurkingTL did a better job of translating this one for sure. It's especially evident during the beginning at the exec interview. The way it was worded here felt much more impactful and sincere.
Re-reading, and just noticed this weird ass handshake on pg12...
Since wording the explanation to accurately describe in what way this handshake is strange would be a pain in the butt... I shall refrain. But basically it's about the positioning of the thumbs.
TY for update!
Gotta say, this is the most acceptable end of a partial chapter I've encountered. Normally the split is right in the middle of stuff going on. Here they've just finished dealing with the buffoons, and I'm assuming the beginning of the next part will be a convo about contacting...
Glad to see the Red Cliff group behaving like normal people for once. It seems like up to this point they've just been comic relief (aside from the slime combat scene).
