Read this a few years ago but wanted to read it again. Rather short and it's premise is based on two people. A girl with incredible good luck and a boy with incredible bad luck. I remember more of the dude; he's built and is durable as hell as every "bad luck" encounter tries to kill him...

I almost agree, but what you're seeing is a great platonic relationship, an actual friendship. I don't like pushing romance where there isn't any; I just see them as good friends.
