@Riger It's so cliched I'm not even mad at him. Bad guys are not flashed out and feel like decorations. At least they are clever enough to use this joke of a main character as a bait. I can't care and feel sympathy for the MC when the author himself doesn't give a fuck.

Drama looks forced, repeating it makes everything annoying. This manga was barely passable before this chapter already.

This is terrible. Flat like elven girl's chest characters, cliche protagonist, unlogical plot, poorly written script. Overall it feels like manga for kids, but the story itself is not meant for children. The author is that bad.

@bigstew00 You're right, I wasn't reading the novel, though it's a manga-related discussion. Manga's author is clearly doing a poor job. But it's still weird that people using skills through many generations and some key knowledge is still hidden.
