Most people call out references to modern things, I get to call out references to ancient things. Technically, "not a drop to drink" would be a "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" reference, by good old Samuel Taylor "psychedelic poems done on laudanum" Coleridge.

The art is really something else. And I like the sort of laid back vibe that somehow feels significant even though it never does anything explicitly significant.

This is a stupid development. But there is some potential still for handling it in a way that isn't cliche and brain-dead, so let's see.

Just for the record, I heartily recommend going to Spain. Get some southern and some northern, because they're both cool but really quite different. Spain is especially great if you like castles--more better castles than anywhere else in the world.
