Whenever I see a chapter of this I just know my day will shortly be better. Even if I was already having a good day.

Well, I'd be proud to see my kid pick herself up and keep going. On the other hand, I'd also be sort of proud if my kid had the guts to say "I hate sports day, I don't see what anyone likes about it, I don't care about the rah rah and I'm terrible at that stuff so I'm not going to do it."

@c0c0c0 Yeah, that's about how I feel. He seems like not a bad guy, it's kind of too bad he had to get pulled in to be second fiddle in this. Not like he's doing anything wrong--there's this girl, she's single, has good qualities, he starts having a thing for her. How's he supposed to know...

@RyoukoKonpaku Yeah, I think of past Shiori as doing that classic manga pattern you usually see with guys, where they can't have the person they want so they date a bunch of people but don't/can't commit to any of them.

@minmanga My bet is, she has a thing for MC's dad. (Although technically, the scanlation says she likes a widow, so theoretically she could be gay)
