@Lilliwyt Its probably just playing very hard on the whole all-girls school aspect. It seems like an all girls school anyway, seeing as though every student we saw was a girl. But yeah, the Principal pretty much endorsing their relationship wasn't expected but funny

Cute and wholesome as always. Nice little observation about the age gap between them. Gaps in age when you're younger are so much wider compared to their current ages.

@primrosea It'll probably just be light drama like when there was that situation when Eri thought Sachi and Ayari would move away, but then was resolved fairly quickly. I expect it will be something like that and return to the fluff. Probably like @joe said, it will be resolved through food.

@Lynkaster They didn't mention either one iirc. Either she's dead like Ayari's Dad or she left Sachi and her dad. If it's the latter then maybe she'll reappear and cause some sort of drama.

They foreshadowed this a bit earlier in ch.355 when An-chan gave Mayu the book, and told her the protagonists name was Mayu. Not sure what to make of him using Mayu's name like that.

@Purplelibraryguy Renkon is Lotus Root/Stem, and Perilla (Shiso) is a herb used in a lot of Japanese cuisine.

Apparently the pronoun 'Ore' was used by both males and females during the Edo Period, however if she was 88 when she died then she would have been 60 odd years too late for the end of the Edo period. I guess its just something that highlights that she's old and the use of the pronoun for both...

Since some light has been shed on Ayari's father, I wonder if there will be something about Sachi's mother at some point. If I remember she was only ever mentioned once by Eri in an early chapter.

@red_bean_casserole No worries, this manga deserves to be on this site in full, and thanks for reviving it! @mommy Ah right, I probably should have read this fully before uploading anything. I'll look into trying that since I want this manga to have all of its chapters on this site.

@mommy I added them in under unknown as I wasn't sure if I was allowed to upload under a currently locked group, but for some reason they got deleted.

Not sure what the problem was with filling in the missing chapters, and for them getting deleted.
