Great manga, thanks for translating it (@Kitsunebi ). I don't really see why "Mister" would act so surprised to see the girl with shorter hair. It's not that short. Now if she had shaved her head, that would have been something.

Was this actually originally in German? Or is the reason for the flag just that the author is from that country?

The girl doesn't come across as someone who's after "casual fun", on the contrary, to me, she seems incapable of that, she's way too timid. So I'm not even sure that I believe any of her story (that she used to be married).

I think that's an unwarranted generalization - just because she was willing to do be *his* mistress, that doesn't mean she would do the same for anybody else.

I think I've figured out what's "wrong" with Sun Jing in some of her recent depictions - she doesn't necessarily look less feminine, but a lot older than before. And to call her "manly" just because she's taking the initiative is a really bad stereotype.
