@bastek66 There are in volume 1 at least, hence why we are redoing chapter 4, 5 and 6.

@A-tan Apparently not, and the original scanlators asked the admins to take them down, since the one doing the coloring took their scans without permission. The admins apparently refused. It's pretty clearly violating the "no altering someone else's scans" rule though.

Welp, with episode 9 the anime has officially veered away from the manga completely. And it might actually be for the better, although the tone shifts were abrupt enough to cause whiplash.

@Chuggoth Oh hell no, keep romcom elements out of this! Or just in occasional chapters, but otherwise as far in the background as possible. If I want to read a Masuda romcom I'll stick to Jitsu wa, thank you. Anyway, I'm glad they didn't back out from the "bottom twelve out" rule. It's handled...

@FlintlockHS In the anime, Ayano gives back her handkerchief to Kaoruko when the match is over and says "Hey, need this?" with a sarcastic smile. She's… a bit more of a bitch in the anime, to say the least. Though I admit I loved that line. It was so hilariously savage.?

At least the art is pretty solid. The shadow work in this chapter was particularly tasteful. …The translation badly needs some proofreading though. Lots of typos and grammar mistakes. Not to blame the translator of course, they're doing what they can.

Regarding the latest raw chapters… That was one of the most intense matches I've seen in a sports manga… The downside being that I have a hard time caring about the next match now… I'm more curious as to where the author's going with that twist… that was pretty abrupt…

I hope Hoozuki at least apologized to Handa for insulting her… (also, reminder that there won't be any chapter next week because of Obon week)
