@MaTu94 Ever read any Dilbert? Office life is absurd. In theory everything is about profits and spirits must be crushed in profit's name, but in practice people react in unpredictable ways.
Well, she should thank the monster after she gets rid of it. She's just been handed on a platter the golden chance to save the people who had been down on her and be the heroine, fending off her ill fate by a little more. Dunno why so many people think she shouldn't save them; from a...
@gronkle In fact, I was not disingenuous, thanks all the same for calling me a liar. Nor did I say I "struggled". But it broke the flow, made me stop and think uhhh, that means such-and-such, right? Breaking the flow like that is one of the things a good translation should avoid. And to be...
@bbobobobobo @_Kaoru_ I dunno, knowing a lot of the manga readers around here, they might think "I became his right hand" had something to do with masturbation.
@starburst98 @Akemua @Dankdevice I wouldn't have said anything, but as long as there's an argument--
I'm often in favour of not translating some relationship-words, particularly brother-sister ones, because you lose the honorifics and, with them, important info about tone and the kind of...
@MoonlightwolfchanX Of course she didn't put them on the internet. Why would she want anyone else to see them? (Insert Gollum hissing "My Precioussss")
@Talh No, seems like an inversion. Man, whatever else you might say about it, you can't say this isn't genre aware. The characters are so defined by how they fiddle with tropes that there's basically no actual character there.

Sigh. It's a cliffhanger but it's hard to care because whatever it is, I can't muster any belief that what we're waiting for will make any decisive difference to anything. Every event that seems important in this manga just sort of trickles away.
Well, cat dad was a bit naive for sure. But there are no perfect answers in a situation like that. And you know, six year olds don't get to decide anyway--she wouldn't have gotten to decide anything if she was with her abandoner-parents, either. All in all, taking the memories away for a...
Well, the art is sexy. But the MC is one of those typical "There is no remotely plausible excuse for him not to gather up an armful except that the author doesn't want it to be a hentai, so he has to be a massive wimp" guys. I'm kind of tired of that kind of story.
Mochi au Lait's art is definitely improving, but I feel like it's at that awkward stage where it loses a certain raw energy the really amateurish art had, but isn't yet all that conventionally good. Give it time though. At this rate in a couple of years it's gonna be pretty hot stuff.
