I stand behind every opinion you have stated here, 8/10 manga. It had a wide margin to be perfect but it's great. Someone rewrite this as a novel! Just make the pillar of light trigger suddenly and have Helck crush the will of the world unexpectedly. Then you're golden.

That's actually why this feels like an asspull and doesn't work as intended, the world tree has to be a thing on the plot for it to work im the story. I think this is the level of writing we had all along, it's just the plot went to places that are easier to make pull off successfully. But...
