I'm responding to the past commenter but since it's been a year since they commented, I won't tag them. I think it's foreshadowing that Fei Xing is actually part of the Dong Fang clan while Xian Yun isn't since Fei Xing has low alcohol tolerance while Xian Yun has high alcohol tolerance.

After finishing the donghua, I thought that the episode about Dong Fang Xian Yun returning Gong Chang Sheng was just extra material and may not actually be canon in the manhua. But upon rereading this, I think that it being canon may explain why they didn't need to marry anyone this timeline.

@Lavnaz Have you watched the donghua? In it, there's actually an original short where Xian Yun looks for Gong Chang Shen. Though, it was because he saw a missing persons poster by a chance rather than him getting sent one.

After checking out the popularity poll, the first place character's reason for winning is definitely a reference to Mikoshiba's win. On a side note, Mikoshiba's also my favourite character for the same reasons.

Was this manga made sometime around 2016?

@missy115 I'm also a bit annoyed by the double standard of it all. If they were both male, nobody would call it abuse and acknowledge it as rivalry.
