Every chapter I keep expecting to see Takahashi staring down either a barrel or a noose. I'm amazed the indirect self harm of banging things around is the farthest he's gone.
Is there any reason at all to take into consideration what this government has to say about the girl, "her" debts, or whatever else? They straight up abandoned her to get raped. If we're going that far, and if they actually cared about the money surely they'd have prostituted her or sold her...
