That's the point - everyone piling on to completely overkill a manga that barely deserves a single scanslation (maybe just for the cute art). That gap makes it more lulz.

Well that was another crazy but fun one! You'll notice we kept using 'Whoosh' and that's because in the raws he always uses 'Su----' for that sfx, which is a whooshing, floating, sliding sfx. I figured 'whoosh' covered all the uses and was more interesting than just 'float' or 'drift' or...

I looked at the raws for this last chapter and don't really think you could do anything satisfying and coherent for it. It really did go go completely off the fucking rails (for the last dozen chapters), and yes, maybe you could have turned the insane fuckery into slightly more coherent insane...

I have not seen the second book yet (it's not out) but while this author is prone to inserting some Drama, he does not actually get off on inflicting torture on his characters like the Made in Abyss guy. See also...

Buchita is just a complete tsundere. You'll see this explained next chapter, but basically nobody in this manga is actually a bad person, it's just warm fuzzies all around with some weak fakeouts. Just assume it'll all be happy and they'll all eat delicious food. :p
