I’m more or less ok with this plot, and ok it’s being drawn out. There are other plot lines that are much worse the author could have gone down. At least this isn’t just “nothing is happening” like what a lot of manga devolve into. But the pacing is rough. This series is kind of known for fun...

This feels like someone min-maxed a D&D character by mistake, and just the core characters of the series make it interesting. It's kind of immune to dull plotlines, since all we care about are how the cast interact with said plot.

This series started as like… 6 or 7 out of 10. It’s at LEAST 9/10 now. The comedy is amazing? Characters amazing? Development is satisfying? WHAT DARK MAGIC IS THIS AUTHOR DOING. Also, the MC is a liiitle dense, but not normal protag dense. It’s SO nice.

How much of a troll would the author be... if it turns out they actually HAVE been going at it for months? The author just hid it from the readers too, and only hints at it sometimes. A Romcom where the author hides info from the readers might be pretty funny.

This manga is... it's just perfect. It's so much better than it has ANY right to be. And I love it so much.

This actually helped me understand the novel a little better... There were some finer points of his motivation that threw me while reading this part in the WL, and this was a lot clearer IMO.
