On one hand, I love that we are getting these great chapters!! On the other hand, they remind me the series ended. GAHHHH.

I really genuinely love this manga, and re-read it every few years. I noticed this time some strong similarities to Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer. Coincidence or not, either way doesn’t diminish my thoughts on the quality of this series but I wanted to list them out as I found it kinda cool...

You caaan find it on other, less-reputable manga sites. It’s far from ideal, but sadly sometimes those sites have LESS spam and ads than the actual group sites (I’m looking at you, FlameScans…) lol

But drama assumes a buy-in from the reader. A chapter where she tries to leave the MC because she is self-reflecting on her actions would have been more in line with this series and provided ACTUAL drama. A chapter or arc where she has to ACTUALLY struggle with her choices would be drama. Or...

It’s not that I “dislike” the arc itself, but I have an issue with the pacing. The whole dilemma regarding his growth as an artist is really well-done! But it could have also been done in a single larger chapter. Think of the growth and development in each chapter of something like Fullmetal...

It's been working for me in BG 3 this weekend, so I approve.

This series is basically perfect, an actual 10/10 story with amazing drawing, character work, and development. I'm sad to see it go, but glad it is closing nicely!

…. On one hand, I’m really enjoying how much effort, time, and slower pacing is put into building the characters and the situations. It adds a fantastic amount of depth to the series! … on the OTHER hand…. DANG IT I WANT TO SEE THE FIGHT

This definitely has some interesting setup going for it. I like the protag isn’t just crazy OP, or stupid and dense, and has started looking to actual normal human goals. Makes him far more interesting to follow.
