More of a technical limitation. The search is primarily meant for titles so it doesn't care about which groups' chapters you're blocking, and to change that behaviour could make the search so complex it'd be simply too expensive for us to maintain.

The entire list/notification system is getting rehauled sooner or later, and there won't be a guarantee that all users will even have a "Dropped" list. It's unlikely that time and effort will be spent improving a system that we know is getting fundamentally changed anyway.

With lists of titles such as in the Library, the frontpage, the search etc., adding some kind of an indicator for the title having unread chapters is unfortunately wildly unlikely to happen. Simply put, read marker data is very difficult to work with due to the vast volume of it that we have to...
