Merge "Shoujo Ai" tag with "Yuri" :planned:

But the point I've been trying to make that, as things stand currently and for the foreseeable future, it isn't simpler to get rid of the Shoujo Ai tag. We simply don't have a tag exclusion setting mechanism for "exclude Yuri but only when accompanied by H or Smut". You would be removing the...

Implement "and" statements and more advanced filtering for the Exclude Tag feature.

You mean globally, as in the frontpage and Titles? Because tag exclusions already don't apply under the Follows pages or chapter lists like group/user uploads. Not sure it's necessary to even make a toggle for it, but it's something to keep in mind for the rewrite.

Then please use the report function for those titles and issue your corrections. The staff can't pre-emptively check these things, so we have to rely on the community to ensure the information is correct. I don't know what to tell you, to me you seem to be reading into it excessively strongly...

Merge "Shoujo Ai" tag with "Yuri" :planned:

It sounds to me like the first is the H toggle and/or Smut, and the latter is Romance, so to answer your question, yes. As far as I understand, the main reason only homosexual relations get a separate tag is because it's enough outside of the hypothetical "norm" that it makes sense to mark it...

Merge "Shoujo Ai" tag with "Yuri" :planned:

It's not an excuse for "inefficient and imprecise" tags, it's a description of the current state of affairs. I don't need to excuse them anyway (assuming they would even need excusing in the first place) because to be perfectly honest, I'm not particularly concerned with whether or not my...

Also, yet another reminder that the Suggestions and Bugs forums are on a particularly tight leash when it comes to off-topic and antagonistic behaviour.

Merge "Shoujo Ai" tag with "Yuri" :planned:

To me this is less of a tangent and an actual major reason against messing with the current system. It's true that we could start treating Yuri by itself as the equivalent of Shoujo Ai, and Yuri + Smut/H as the equivalent of the current Yuri, but outside of advanced search there would be no...

Yeah needing a Mac doesn't help. And yes, the reader indeed does start with some html, being a page on the internet. What happens afterwards however is the reader javascript manipulating the DOM by adding, editing and deleting nodes. Calling it "html" is understandable but technically misleading.

@Eti2d Safari annoys me because of how often it's that one browser where some js feature or CSS rule or whatever just doesn't work like it does on every other browser. I don't particularly care about its user interface or anything, as a web developer I care about not having a spend time fixing...

@Eti2d I'm not surprised at all if things don't work as they should on Safari, it's buggy as hell to the point I'd rather have to work with Internet Explorer 11. I knew about the history push limits they set but what you're describing is more like Safari is just using replaceState as pushState...

Implement "and" statements and more advanced filtering for the Exclude Tag feature.

@vigorousjammer Yeah, as things are, this isn't happening. The major site changes we're planning may make this more viable on the server-side, but I'm still concerned about how the UI would look like for this, even in the advanced search. It certainly seems like overkill for any casual user and...

One page scrolling for chapters :implemented:

MrIncognito already told you how to enable long strip, but I will mention that it will have absolutely zero effect on preloading. The preloading amount (configurable in the settings) and strategy is the same regardless what page rendering mode you use.

    Preload across chapter boundries :planned:

The reader doesn't perform a hard reload when changing chapters, unless you're talking about the legacy reader which I don't care about. It's called legacy for a reason. In the actual default reader, currently the main thing preventing me from preloading chapter data is the fact that loading a...

Please Help: Need instructions on adding and "END" tag to a previous upload and an easier way to search the forum

Yeah, end tags aren't added to the chapter entries themselves. Instead, the manga entry itself has a field for the last chapter number. Samhill pretty much covered the rest.

No, scanlators are allowed to post legit scanlations. The automatic spoiler net feature in the reader already warns people, and you can block the group if you don't want to see any of their stuff.

I'm definitely not seeing it happen on desktop Chrome. Like I said, long strip uses replaceState so the url does update depending on which page you've scrolled to, but it shouldn't be adding new history items per each page. It should when changing chapters though, that I don't see a reason to...
