There's an update to the tag search: you can now choose whether to use dropdowns or checkboxes. Dropdown behaviour was also changed a little to hopefully make it a bit less annoying to deal with.

Done. I changed the dropdown behaviour slightly as well. Unfortunately if there's any way to force a <select> to keep open after selecting an item, I can't figure it out, so I just went with the next best method and not reset it to the top every time.

Pretty insane if a UI solution that's intended not to fuck over every mobile user is an actual dealbreaker for using the site

It's difficult to say anything about this, especially without knowing which manga you believe you were following and then later weren't (although even knowing that might not help). Obviously data doesn't just magically disappear from the database, so if this unfollowing really happened something...

You can use the Genderswap and Crossdressing tags to get almost entirely the same results. If you were using the Gender Bender tag to find a few transgender manga among hundreds of non-transgender manga, you're better off using MangaUpdates to do that.

The problem is that it's not anywhere near everything on the screen at once. The checkbox list is like 2 screens tall, probably 3 when more get added. I'm not from the future. Depends on when I have time for it. Could be later today, could be next year.

A more accurate analogy would be a computer store splitting their "Home Electronics" section to "Desktop" and "Laptop", both of which have hundreds of products. Their dozen or so other home electronics products that they happen to sell on the side become uncategorized.

Some fixes made to the quick and advanced searches: - foreign characters, apostrophes and such should work properly now - sorting links fixed - sorting dropdown added to all manga listings

@forsakenme @VadimZap There's over 70 tags now (nearly twice as much as before), fairly likely with more coming, especially if/when we decide to add H tags. Making them display all at once would make the search form in particular pretty massive, even more so on mobile. It's just not sustainable.

@bisala Well... Obviously you would have to learn how to program first if you wanted to make a complex website from scratch, or at least know html and css for a simpler one. There's generator services like SquareSpace if you want to make one without knowing how, I guess. It's a pretty involved...
