I thought the same thing at the time, but having read the light novels at this point, I can tell you .

I don't mean it as a personal attack. Like I said, if you weren't working on it, we likely wouldn't even have access to it. It's simply that the quality could really be better. And I don't even mean the memes or jokes you inject into the translation yourself (though I don't love those, either)...

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate people translating works like this regardless of the quality. If they didn't, I wouldn't be able to read these things at all. So, on that level, I'm appreciative. I really am. But this translation is not good.

This isn't me expressing a personal opinion on the topic itself either way, but it really doesn't matter what the gender of the person writing it is. It doesn't change how the person reading it is going to feel upon reading it.

I don't know what the rules are for linking to other sites, but I went and found the light novels and have been reading those ever since finding this manga here. I've also ordered both of the physical releases of the light novels that are out so far, because I've enjoyed them enough to want to...

I have all languages turned on for updates and got my hopes up that someone picked this stupid ass manga back up for English when I saw the update today.

I wasn't expecting a whole lot after reading the synopsis. But two chapters in and I already want to go read the light novel. I really enjoy the tone and pace of this. It doesn't throw everything at you right away and he behaves exactly like you would expect someone in his situation to.

Every now and then, I think about this manga. I do wish we got more of it translated. Apparently 56 chapters were out by the time the mangaka passed away. I know it wasn't finished, but that's a lot more that we haven't seen than we have.
